![]() ![]() Onyc have a 10% chance to give rabies on hit and will target the player, even if they are mounted. If this happens just shoot it and let it walk itself into the lava. I have never seen a Megalosaurus spawn in this cave so far but the wiki says they can spawn at the artifact's location. Megalania will cause rabies on hit but aren't an issue if the player is on a mount. Dilophosaurs can be a bit of a nuisance if you get hit by the spit but aren't that big of a deal. Araneo can slow you down with webs and both the Araneo and Pulmonoscorpius have torpor inducing attacks. This cave contains some pretty basic cave creatures. Falling in the lava typically spells immediate death, but if you can figure out a way out of the lava once falling in then you should be fine. ![]() ![]() Extreme heat is an issue and can cause hyperthermia if you aren't prepared. With a nickname of "Lava Cave" I'm sure you can assume what to expect from this cave. I would recommend this cave after the easier caves such as Upper South and Central but before more annoying caves like North West and North East. These guides will appear to be useless to those more experienced with the game.
